It would surprise me if a 2014 didn't support Bluetooth audio streaming. My 2010 Equinox did not, but I replaced a module with an updated one from 2011/2012 which did support streaming. One thing I can tell you is that the pairing for phone and pairing for music are done separately. For music, try hitting the AUX input button and then Menu. Like.

Have been having an intermittent issue with wireless CarPlay connecting on my 2023 Prius XLE. This happens sometimes where I try to connect and it just blinks but doesn't connect.
