They hurt if I don't wear one while sleeping, so I just use a comfy sports bra to keep them in place. I wear one when I'm breastfeeding to keep the pads on so I don't leak everywhere. Otherwise I just wear a shirt that's big enough that I can tuck it between or under them as needed to prevent sweat.
