The thing lacking at Loveland is vertical drop. There are only 2 chairs with just over 1,000 vertical, so most of the runs are going to be pretty short. It’s fun skiing though, and we wouldn’t hesitate to ski there regularly if we lived in Summit County. And if you are from Denver, this will be the closest decent resort to the city on I-70.Children 2.5 years – 13 years of age are welcome. Reservations are highly recommended as space is limited. Walk-ins are accepted based on availability before 10:00am. All children must be checked in by 10:00am each day. The Childcare Center will be open from 8:00am – 4:00pm on Wednesday – Sunday.
