Feb 28, 2022 · I have a Litter Robot 3 which I purchased in April 2021. S/N LR3171595. Order #: 1085085. About a week ago the yellow light for the pinch sensor started flashing rapidly. At first I was able to take the unit apart and use a soft brush to clean litter and dust out of the base and this would fix the problem.
I finally ordered a completely new pinch detector and DFI kit. I changed it all out, it was working great for about a month. Now these past few days I am back to seeing the pinch detector alerts. I absolutely despise having to open the litter robot and have probably about a good 10x now. I’ve had the litter robot 3 for 3-4 years now.Press Reset again and it switches back to the slow blue, and the cycle repeats. I would make sure it is seated correctly, and if you want to make extra sure you can remove it and then try a cycle.
